You will get the chance to:
- Procure FF&E quotations, warehouse, and install bids for items as specified in the approved project budget.
- Negotiate prices, lead times, and payment terms.
- Conduct cost analysis, purchase, and ensure all product delivery within the approved budget.
- Manage an efficient project purchasing process to guarantee timely procurement and delivery of requirements.
- Issue weekly ‘Expediting Reports’ and oversee coordination with designers and manufacturers for shop drawings, submittals, and finish approvals.
- Manage project procurement and close out the budget.
What you must bring to the table:
- A bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- Over 3 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the hospitality or construction industry.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with presentation skills considered a plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to follow through.
- Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
A Great Plus:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in Spitfire.
